Soeraya Satem: Embracing the year of Creativity and Innovation (Part 1)
Salam YAB.

I have just started reading your blog and this one on Creativity and Innovation really interests me.

I am a young woman entrepreneur who is keen to venture into the production of high value functional (i.e. health wise) ingredients/products that are derived from local agriculture produce. This idea came up after a trip to kelantan and I noticed many stalls were selling melons, pumpkins and sweet potatoes along the road. During that trip, I found out from locals as well as a Tobacco Board officer that there is always this surplus of these crops because there is no commercial demand for them. I went back and brainstormed with friends and came up with the idea of initiating this agriculture biotech project.

Soeraya Satem: Embracing this year of Creativity and Innovation (Part 2)
Being a start up isn't easy, YAB, and as we require funds to kick start we have decided to try our luck by applying the Technofund grant parked under MOA since it is after all to undertake innovative pre-commercialization technologies in the Ninth Malaysia Plan.

Our proposal has already been submitted twice as it was rejected the first time. We have corrected what was needed to be corrected and we are trying again for the second seating this year (which is this saturday, 29/10/10). We refuse to give up so easily as we see the potential of this project being a success and since we have also put in a lot of effort and resources in trying to make this project possible.

We hope the government would be supportive of this project and not dissapoint us this time, YAB.

Thank you.
Soeraya Satem Ahmad

We hope everyone preserve of Buddhist teachings, and please safety of our monks, not see only money as this of temple. When we asked some of our people ( Myanmar) and local people, the committees are very low of idea because is very narrow mind and without education of religions. And committees will not disturbing of our monks, monks are like our father to take care of Buddhism and temple is like our place of resolving of our problem.
Recently, our monk(Sadayaw Ashin Indaka original from Madalay, Myanmar) has been staying in this temple also unhappy because the committees are not pay anythings to him, he is working in hardly to advise people and we also unhappy and very sad when heard the bad news from our monks. Sometime the committees people came and shouting in the temple without have any reason and done what they need to do, our monk said, the committees of this temple don’t have Buddhist teachings in their mind, may be next time Buddhist can destroy.

Dr. Jugdaiv: For cheaper,unlimited electricity
As,this is the year for creativity and innovation for Malaysia & Malaysians,I wish to suggest a few innovative ideas,As we travel along the bold and daring road of technological and scientific progress ,which will eventually lead us to higher income economy,we must invent new ways of doing things.
The Spratley Islands are long lying entities where political disputes over their ownership seem to be going to go on forever.
I would suggest that all those countries which share the claims for this islands get together and build a nuclear reactor there. They could then share the electricity production from this source for their power needs. The reactor could supply their electricity needs for the next 300 years or more.

I hope that the honorable and respected Prime Minister would kindly give his precious time to ponder over this issue and give his wise opinion.

Thank You.

Jugdaiv .....

Nazri Bohari: Jadikan ICT (khususnya Telekomunikasi) sebagai penjana Pendapatan Rakyat.
Salam 1Malaysia Datuk Seri,
TIADA RISIKO, MUDAH & MURAH, BERTERUSAN DAN PERTAMA Di DUNIA... DAN YG PALING PENTING ialah EFEKTIF!
Dan secara peribadi, saya melihat POTENSI ini (Tel Cellular @ handphone) amat RELEVAN utk dijadikan Elemen @ MEKANISME MENJANA PENDAPATAN kerana mampu dimiliki selaras dengan Dunia Tanpa Sempadan dalamm ERA ICT kini..
Jika rakyat berpendapatan Tinggi maka bebanan kerajaan utk SUbsidi sana sini blh digunakan utk tujuan pembangunan HOLISTIK negara MALAYSIA.

ideas: new opportunity
Just over a month ago, 32 million cell and Internet users froze in their tracks...
Without warning, they were thrown into the dark, cut off from communication and business transactions. It was the second occurrence in a week. No explanation was ever given by either AT&T or Verizon, the $82 billion telecom giants.
Just a few days earlier, hundreds of thousands of iPhone users in Great Britain were left in the dark for the third time in a year.
On October 2nd, nearly 1 million T-Mobile Sidekick users lost all of their personal data - business contacts, appointments, addresses - everything. Outraged customers filed class action lawsuits just two days later - adding another to a long list.
And on January 29, 2010, Google Nexus One users nationwide also lost all of their data during after being left in the dark for more than eight hours. Again, no explanation was given.
How frightening and dangerous would this be?

Heng Boon Liang: ...
Dear YAB Najib,

Hope that there are more opportunities for the development of defence products in Malaysia. Malaysians are talented and we just need some incentive and allowance for people to try and invent new technologies.

Over dependence on foreign technology is not beneficial to Malaysia. We hope that local companies with the vision to design and development military products can gain government support and hopefully local defence purchase to help grow local entrepenuer in the local market.

Entertainee: Real Malaysian scenario
There are plans to produce more programmes that are Malaysian orientated. This is good news. For example, instead of speaking perfect Bahasa Malaysia, the story lines will have actors and actresses speaking Bahasa Malaysia the Chinese way like lu, gua or the Indian way like takda, or local Malay like the local Kelate Malay or the very common English words, I, you inserted between Malay words or Manglish. This will portray the actual Malaysian scenario. There are Chinese stories spoken using perfect standard Bahasa Malaysia but this does not reflect the real day to day communication between the different races in Malaysia.
