Last Monday at about 4.00 p.m., I had the pleasure of talking with President Abdullah Gül of Turkey.

In our relaxed phone conversation, a call coordinated by the Turkish Embassy, we touched upon the Organisation of The Islamic Conference (OIC), of which Malaysia and Turkey have been members since its formation 40 years ago.
