As the end of another year draws closer, Christmas is once again upon us, offering yet another opportunity for many to unwind amidst the comfort of family, friends and neighbours.
This festive season, as enjoyable as it is, can produce excesses, even in these financially less liberating times. I believe that for Christians, this season marks a time to spread goodwill and cheer, particularly among the less fortunate. I hope that regardless of faith, all Malaysians can demonstrate our sense of generosity and compassion by extending it to those in need of it most, from the infirm and poor to our ever-present emergency services.
In this spirit of generosity, we ought also to demonstrate kindness towards our natural environment. A greener Christmas can be had, for example, by passing on unwanted gifts, packaging presents in recycled wrapping paper and using Christmas lights sparingly.
Finally, I wish to emphasise the opportunity to reach out to other members of the community. Like Hari Raya before it, why not use the occasion to bring together guests from different backgrounds under one roof?
On this note, I wish all celebrating this most special day a joyous, peaceful and harmonious Christmas.

As a politician, you should know that people don't believe in what you say but in what you do. Have your actions matched up to your words?
Yours sincerely,
Pete.
As a Catholic, I feel sad and disturbed by what is happening around the use of the word "Allah". I do not believe in "divisions" and this case is a clear example of where the wrong decision can lead to disunity and divisions in our country.
GOD is universal and all parties regardless of faith or belief should accept and embrace others who intend to use whatever word in their worship. We live in a world where divisions are created and exploited by man. God did not create one human different from another. We are from the same stock, the same dust, and from the one and only creator.
If we are true to the spirit of 1Malaysia, this is clearly something that I believe your wisdom as our leader of a multiracial, multireligious nation will lead you to a balanced, holistic, and non-divisive decision.
This is an opportunity which I believe GOD has given us to prove that we are indeed able to be 1Malaysia.
Sincerely
Tim

As im bringing my clients who rush for their flight n looking for the business center in KLIA...the information counter gave me the direction already but i still cannot found it, so i asked the policeman on duty that i met (not one only, but few of them), they said they dunno wat im asking, n fyi, im asking in Malay.. i think they dunno wat is the meaning of 'Business Center' kot!! or they really dunno the place??? n i feel that it really waisting my time for asking them...but in front of the foreigner, i really feel 'malu' during that time... Don't them need to know the place well b4 they r on duty???
Please... Please improve the standard n quality of our policeman especially those need to directly involved with the foreigners... If not, only PM u alone work hard, den its useless...!!!
Sebagai seorang pendidik,saya begitu terpanggil untuk menyuarakan berkaitan dengan isu cadangan guru bekerja waktu pejabat iaitu dari jam 8pg-5ptg.Secara jujurnya, saya menolak cadangan ini di atas beberapa alasan yang munasabah dan perlu diambil kira.Antara perkara yang perlu dilihat adalah;
1. Psikologi murid.
